• Educational Qualification :-

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Mathematics and Physics at the 10+2 level.

• Candidates with diplomas must have Physics and Mathematics in their curriculum.

• Born between July 1,200, and June 30,2004 (inclusive).

Technical Branch

• Educational Qualification :-

• Engineering degree in naval architecture, mechanical, marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.

• Electrical or Electronics Engineering disciplines are also eligible.

Age Limit :-

• Born between July 1,2000, and June 30,2004 (inclusive).

Selection Process

The selection comprises five stages :-

1. Stage 1 : Coast Guard Common Admission Test (CGCAT):

• A computer- based online screening test with 100 multiple- choice questions.

Subjects : English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematics, and General knowledge.

   2. Stage 2: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) :

• Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).

   3. Stage 3: Final Selection Board (FSB) :

• Psychological Test, Group Task, and Personal Interview.

  4. Stage 4 : Medical Examination :

• Conducted at Base Hospital, New Delhi.

 5. Stage 5: Induction:

• Training at the Indian Navel Academy, EZHIMALA.
